This is another book I downloaded from Amazon when it was on sale, something of a pig-in-a-poke. I did not know the author, so bought it on the strength of the Amazon description. What could be better than murder in Bath, England?
Turns out to be even better than murder in Bath. The story involves two estranged sisters who become involved in opposite ends of a complex story. When they meet in the middle, it becomes sisters against the world.
I really like the book. It was a bit slow in the beginning, mostly because of the repetition of Sally’s self-doubts, and Zoe’s to a lesser extent. Even so, it was clear that trouble was just a page away. Hayder kept me reading.
You will probably guess some of the endings, but if you get it all figured out, you must be in Mensi.
